Fresh Thinking, Inspiration, and Vision on the Process of Spiritual Transformation
There is an inner voice of truth calling to each of us. However it shows up for a person, it inspires honesty and clarity in the way one relates to one’s own life and to other people. If we are to hear the voice that speaks with us and be that voice in our world, it takes a steady listening and our willingness to let the expression of that inner voice of truth come all the way through. And a person has to let any internal mental racket recede so that voice may be heard.
Accord. Peace. Serenity. Letting those qualities reign internally, a person’s inner voice can take root and grow in the realm of their thoughts and feelings. A person can find that what is happening in them is like the rising of the sun. There is an inner radiance that sheds light on a person’s experience and on their world. The voice that speaks with us is calling us to be a sun. It is building a sun in us and, as it does, we are building a sun with other people. Our internal radiance is bringing us into creative relationship with others who are having that same experience.
Accord. Peace. Serenity. These qualities which let a sun be built in us allow a sun to be built between us and other people. As we bring these qualities to our relationships with other people, we turn any friction that appears between us and another person to fusion. We have the pleasure and fulfillment of being part of a collective sun. The warmth and the light of the sun are now coming through us together. The gravity of the sun is working in our world, drawing people toward the source of their own radiance—to their own experience of being a sun in their world.
What might be at risk for us to be a sun? If we are a sun today, we might have to be a sun tomorrow, and we might not feel like it. We might put ourselves on the spot. We might have to take a stand in our life. We might become subject to ridicule. It might be hard to be a sun. We might lose who we thought we were.
There are many reasons that people avoid their opportunity to be a sun and their opportunity to build a sun with others. It can seem safer and easier to maintain a state of friction inside oneself and with other people. It can seem to be risky to let the internal friction be transformed to fusion. It can seem even riskier to let the friction with others be transformed to fusion. But of all the risks that a person faces in their life, there is none greater than the risk that they would miss their opportunity to be a sun and to build a sun with other people.
Here are five statements from the perspective of being a sun.
I am expanding the borders of my tent.
I am expanding what I include in my world. I am expanding what I am willing to touch. The world of what I love and include and bless is growing. I am expanding the borders of my tent.
I am extending my vibration into new territory.
The energy that moves through me is touching people and places that it hasn’t touched before. There is a creative influence emanating from me that is bringing a new opportunity to people’s awareness. I am extending my vibration into new territory.
I am moving the hearts of people as they have never been moved before.
The voice that speaks in and through me brings blessing that transforms emotion. What seemed heavy becomes light. What seemed unbearable is now part of life. I am inspiring the great desire to let the radiance of the sun flood through. I am moving hearts of people as they have never been moved before.
I am building a sun.
I am calling to my world and the people in it to join together in accord, to be a sun in living expression. To collectively provide the substance of consciousness that allows the light of the sun to be comprehended and available to people everywhere. I am building a sun.
I am bringing what is mine to me.
There are circumstances, there is physical substance, and there are people who are meant to be part of a sun. There are people on earth today who are here to be with me and do this with me. And I am bringing them to me, because I am building a sun.
These are the words of the voice that speaks with me. They are words of a sun builder.
I am expanding the borders of my tent.
I am extending my vibration into new territory.
I am moving the hearts of people as they have never been moved before.
I am building a sun.
I am bringing what is mine to me.
Are these your words too?
As we hear the voice that speaks with us and give it utterance, we speak with one voice. We are expanding the borders of our tent. It is ultimately one voice and one tent. That tent is not an organization. That tent includes all people everywhere who hear the voice of truth that speaks with them. All such people are our brothers and sisters. All are welcome in this tent.
It simply requires the openness, the yieldedness and surrender, to hear the voice that speaks with us, to listen unwaveringly and then give it steady expression in our living. With accord, peace and serenity, we can find a new level of honesty with other people so that we can say what is so. We can speak about everything we need to speak about together, because there is the surround of the sun that holds it all. The radiance of the sun turns friction to fusion, and our fusion brings the radiant release of the power of love, the power of the sun.

It really is time that competence be known in stewardship of the “friction to fusion” cycle. My personal world and the world beyond are crying out for it!
There are some great tools coming to the fore in this area. The books and courses “Crucial Conversations” and “Crucial Confrontations” come to mind. Yet the key to truly effective fusion, as I see it, is held by the person whose heart belongs fully to the One Voice, the Voice that comes from the center of the Sun you are about.
It’s (that voice) in us all. It’s good to hear it come so clearly through your words in this remarkable meditation.
