Being a Sun

Fresh Thinking, Inspiration, and Vision on the Process of Spiritual Transformation

What your world, and the people in it, need most from you is for you to be a sun.

They need your warmth. Your ability to offer your care for their well-being. Your ability to offer blessing. Nothing imposed. Nothing affected. Just the abiding spirit of love, constant in your heart of hearts.

When faced with the coldness of other people, or the coldness of the world, return that coldness with your warmth. And in the fire that fuels your warmth, transform what the world gives to you without reaction. Let the coldness be transformed and transmuted in your inner fire until it is burnt to ash and ascending flame. Then return to your world the fire of your love. Let your world feel the warmth of the sun through you.

Your world needs your light. Your wisdom. Your intelligence. Your vision. You have the ability to light up your world so that the people in it can see. Faced with judgment or condemnation. Faced with prejudice and bias. Or faced with the dogged determination to imagine the worst thing that could happen and act out of fear of that. Bring your light. Not in other’s faces. Not as a bludgeon. This is the light that illuminates the path ahead. The light that illuminates not only what is, but what could be if we would only let it. This is the light that lets humanity find its way.

Your world and the people in it need your light even more than they need your warmth. Your light is the eternal, shining truth you know in your bones. Never imposed, but made freely available wherever you are. Let your world see because of the light of the sun through you.

Your world needs the gravity you bring that holds the flow of creation in its orbit. This is your capacity to hold people in whatever process they are in. This is that attractive power that moves through you, which brings people close to your fire when they need to be.

The gravity you bring to your world is born out of your stability as a sun. Your acceptance of your rightful place in the heavens, and your refusal to move from that place. Because you abide where you belong, you draw to you the people, the circumstances, the physical substance and the financial substance that is longing to come to you and play a part in your world.

Your gravity is also that force that holds you together. It brings all the parts of who you are to one place to participate in your burning and your light.

Let your world feel the gravity of what is happening in you. Let all who inhabit your world find their rightful orbit. Let them come together in your solar system because of the gravity of the sun you bring.

As you are a sun—as you bring the warmth, the light and the gravity that is yours to bring—you offer orientation to your world and the people who inhabit it. Even as travelers find the four directions by the position of the sun in the sky, your world needs you to be a point of reference. People in your world want to know that a human life could be miraculous. Creative! Fulfilling! Full of real pleasure! As people have relied on the stars, or on the sun itself, to find their way, let your world find the point of orientation you bring when you are being a sun.

What your world, and the people in it, need most from you is for you to be a sun. It is the most natural thing for you to do to bring your warmth, your light, and the gravity of who you are. And when you do, you provide a point of orientation for your world. Any shortcomings or limitations you believe you have don’t stop you from being a sun. And as you are a sun in your world, any shortcomings and limitations have a way of being transformed and transmuted. They do not stop you from being a sun.

Everyone’s world needs them to be a sun. If you and I have both awakened to this greatest of needs, we can become aware of each other. We can become aware that there are people around the world who have awakened to the reality that they are born to be suns. In fact, we are born to build One Sun. Not just a sun for your world. Not just a sun for my world. One Sun for THE world. Are you ready to be a Sun builder? The world needs such a Sun.

Every time people have come together for this grand task, there has been friction among them. People resist their own calling to be a sun. They fight with other people who have that same calling. As the gravity of the One Sun calls us together, there is always friction. Expect it! As Sun builders, our job is to transform friction to fusion. Let the gravity of the One Sun that brings us together bring fusion. With the warmth of the Sun. With the light of the Sun. With each other, so that together we may be One Sun. On earth! Within the body of humanity. That transforming power! That gravity!

Let us build a sun.

Dear David,

The spirit behind your words is forever present.

I have been opening myself to the words penned by Uranda in 1936 and the theme of unwavering and unjudging love is eternal.

Blessings to you all.

Jim

David, The friction you mentioned has historically discouraged participation in the full fruition of the sun-building process. It may now be seen as merely a necessary part of the initial heating up…an inevitable phenomenon on the way to fusion. It is no big deal. The “big deal”, as I see it, is that the process has begun and we each may say, “I have a part to play this”.
