A one-week intensive for spiritual transformation and personal empowerment
Sometime in the past, before memory, we human beings forgot the simple truth of our divinity and began to create a complex and confusing world. As we begin to remember this simple truth, we reclaim the opportunity to experience the reality of ourselves and create a new world.
The Opening is a one-week immersion experience. It is powerful because it is real, alive and created anew each time by the facilitators and participants, according to the group’s experience. Principles are always presented in ways that are immediately applicable to life situations.
The Opening introduces participants to the foundational principles of the art and science of living through exploration of:
- Divine Identity
- Universal Principles
- Attunement
- The Invisible Realm
- Creative Process
- Design & Workings of Body, Mind & Heart
- Spiritual History of Humankind
The format includes a balanced variety of activities. Each presentation of theory is complemented by a time of personal exploration, experiential exercise and group participation.
Fee: $950 US for the course fee, accommodation and meals. $100 discount for registrations received one month prior to the course.

Faculty Leaders
Leandro Castro and Maria Franco
Leandro Castro is a Practitioner and a Spiritual Teacher in The Art of Living and the Sacred Art of Attunements since 1997. He is also a certified Right Use of Power Facilitator. His passion is to share these beautiful Arts and to create spaces where people remember their true identity as children of God, as well as to provide tools and inspiration to live a life with great significance and wellbeing. Leandro has taught in Mexico, Argentina, Peru and the USA.
Maria Franco M.A. has a master degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica;, a Bachelor’s Degree in World Religions from the Emerson Theological Institute. She was ordained as an Interfaith Minister by The New Seminary in New York. She is a Practitioner and a Spiritual Teacher of the Art of Living and the Sacred Art of Attunements since 1996. Her passion is to provide spaces where transformation, healing and spiritual renewal are a reality. Maria has taught in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and the USA.
Phil Richardson & Ruth Buckingham
Phil Richardson & Ruth Buckingham are the co-directors of the Emissary program in South Africa.
Larry Pearlman
While working 32 years in corporate America, Larry also offered spiritual perspective in study courses. In addition, he has taught courses in “The Art of Creative Living” and hosts a radio show, “Evolution in Consciousness”. He recently served in the Peace Corps in Ghana for 27 months and currently resides at Sunrise Ranch.
